More stuff!!!
Yesterday Christine and I went to Butte to pick up a truckload of free engines/stuff. 19 total engines, most of them complete including two rather large Fairbanks Morse engines, a few LawnBoy two strokes, a number of B&S push mower engines and several that I have no idea what they are. Most of them are horizontal shaft, with a few vertical and a couple that I'm not even sure yet.

So what's the plan? Rebuild/Repaint/use wherever you feel like? As for the Files, you could make a pile of File-Knives(in fact there are folks looking for files just for that use a lot of the time). Looks like quite a haul, I've got to admit that Fairbanks/Morse engine looks pretty handy!
ReplyDeleteNo immediate plans other than tinkering. I'll probably try to get the Fairbanks Morse and some of the better looking two stroke ones running. Most of 'em will probably end up on eBay.
